About Us

David Dumas started Diamonds & Gold Jewelers with $250, in 1986, in a three room office space behind Niklow's Restaurant.  To better meet the needs of his customers,  he expanded his store,  jewelry repair and custom design service by moving his store to the Robin Center Mall in Robbinsdale for 23 years.

of Love Stories

In 2010, David moved his store  to its current location in the Miracle Mile Shopping Center on Excelsior Boulevard in St Louis Park.  This gives Diamonds & Gold Jewelers a more centralized location to accommodate our customers throughout Mpls and the surrounding suburbs.

David believes that we should not just take from our community but give back. In 1988 he began the tradition of purchasing toys at Christmas to donate to the battered Women's Shelter " Home Free". Soon after,  his clients started bringing in toys THEY had purchased and the tradition has not only continued, but grown to the point where it now assists all of Minneapolis and St Paul's battered women's shelters with toy requests.

We enjoy serving St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, St. Paul and the greater metropolitan area.
